L Cruz III / Articles / Resources

L Cruz III is the
founder of ExploringChrist.com.
Much of Cruz's written work and opinions are
geared towards Christian philosophy and apologetics. A list of his
articles and resources can be seen below.
Cruz is
a husband, a father, a military veteran, a former composer for television
and for the past 13 years has been a professional within the broadcast news
industry.
One may wonder how
a Christian writer could possibly emerge from something as controversial as broadcast media. The
answer is quite simple.
After 13 years of hearing horrific news pieces about fallen individuals doing fallen
things, one comes to discover why such stories are so universally
shocking. It is because they stand in contrast with our
strangely universal understanding of good. We celebrate in good's
presence and we suffer in good's absence because good is a part of who we
are. And the greatest good is love.
In Cruz's experience, the Judeo-Christian worldview
best explains this profundity and many more. God is
love, and
we were made in the image of God, therefore we
naturally react when love is not present. (1 John 4:8 & Genesis 1:26)
Cruz wishes more people would ask themselves, why, if they are
all so aware of the presence
of evil do they reject the presence of the universal Good they innately know it
contradicts?
When working
in news, one cannot help but get a better understanding of the fall and
the perfection and the wonder of God from Whom we fell.

Rocking Notion Blue
We all get
frustrated for various reasons...but sometimes those reasons aren't so easy to
figure out. It is during times like these when we can adopt the false
and damaging assumption that we were meant to live frustrating
lives. So what should we do?
